This flat is being demolished in a circular way. Many demolition materials were secured with our circular demolition method (our material life cycle strategy). Windows, doors, mailboxes, group boxes and balcony fences have been dismantled from the building and given a more sustainable application.
A good example of a circular application of this project are the balcony fences. The balcony fences of the project have been beautifully re-applied in the form of quay screening in the port of Beverwijk.
The shielding blends into the environment and seems almost made for this application. Circular applications therefore do not always have to be at the expense of aesthetic product properties. Only ingenuity and the right knowledge and good cooperation are needed to make circular demolition and design possible.
